Papers move the resale figure more on a Datejust than on almost any other Rolex, because so many traded hands naked over forty years of production. Two watches, same reference, can sit a four-figure spread apart on documentation alone. For a buyer now, the move is a sharp Jubilee example with its card, or an honest 116234 bought while the market still treats it as an afterthought.</p>
